Final Fantasy Type-0

It looks like Square Enix has another Final Fantasy game on the way. Square-Enix has copyrighted the title Final Fantasy Type-0 as well as a logo, covering everything from "Computer game software" to "toy swords." It's Type "zero" and not "o".

The trademark is for "Final Fantasy Type-0". The trademark also included a logo, which is 零式, or "Type-0" written in Japanese kanji.

It's not clear whether the game is in fact a reboot, but Tomb Raider, which Square Enix now owns, is getting another reboot called simply "Tomb Raider".

Usually, Square Enix just files a title like Nier or Tactics Ogre. Since Square Enix registered a logo too, this is probably bigger.

No platforms have been announced, so it’s unknown whether this is a roleplaying game for a major console like Final Fantasy XIII, or a handheld title for the Nintendo DS or PlayStation Portable, or even an MMO to replace the disastrous Final Fantasy XIV.

Square Enix's "1st Production Department Premiere" is just a month away. New titles will be revealed at the event. Will Final Fantasy Type-0 one of them?
